Injections of neuromodulators (aka Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) temporarily relax the facial muscles, while reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It’s injected directly into the targeted area, reducing the amount of tension from the muscle that causes dynamic wrinkles to appear. Results can be seen within a few days but will peak at day 14. Thus delivering results that will show a more refreshed & youthful appearance.
Why Wrinkle Relaxers?
As we age, facial expressions and exposure to the sun can both contribute to fine lines and wrinkles.
These repeated muscle contractions will eventually create lines in the skin that can worsen over time.
Wrinkle relaxers minimize that contraction, allowing the skin to smooth and keeping the existing lines from deepening.
Where can Wrinkle Relaxers be used?
The most commonly injected areas include forehead lines, vertical lines between the eyes, “crow’s feet” around the eyes, sagging eyelids, chin dimples, axilla (axillary hyperhidrosis), and vertical lip lines. They can also be used in the armpits and hands to control sweating as well as the platysma bands in the neck to create a smoother more contoured appearance. Consultations are required.
Am I a good candidate for Wrinkle Relaxers?
Anyone over the age of 21 that wants to reduce existing fine lines and have a preventative plan in place for the deepening of lines and wrinkles throughout their life is a good candidate.
Important Considerations: Some side effects can include minor bleeding at the injection site and bruising. Additionally, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of Myaesthenia Gravis, or ALS should not receive this treatment.

Our wrinkle relaxer appointments are set at 30 minutes for existing clients and 45 minutes for new patients.
There is little to no down time expected.
You may experience slight bruising in the injection site. We ask that you refrain from exercise for 24 hours and remain upright for the four hours following your treatment.
Wrinkle Relaxers are FDA approved to last between 3 to 4 months and you will see peak results at approximately 2 weeks from your initial appointment.
We schedule follow up appointments for approximately 14 days after initial treatment for a follow up to verify placement and desired results. We will then place you on a schedule for consistency of care.
Wrinkle relaxers vary per unit and the cost is determined on the amount of units that will be used. This is discussed at your visit based on your treatment areas and goals. We work with manufacturers to give us rebates and rewards when treating more than one area.
