Dermal fillers are a Hyaluronic Acid (HA) gel substance that is used to replace lost volume. It is injected into the skin at different depths to help fill in the facial wrinkles that have been created from a decrease in volume overall. They help to provide volume and augment facial features, which helps to restore a smoother appearance. HA fillers are temporary as they are eventually broken down by the body and absorbed.
Fillers are used to help add volume and plump thin lips, enhance shallow contours, help to add structure and restore a more youthful appearance. Most HA fillers are infused with lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during and after treatment. Results can last between 6-12 months and sometimes up to 18 months depending on the rheology and cohesiveness of the filler.
Why Dermal Fillers?
As we age, sun exposure, gravity, environmental factors (and more) can reduce the amount of Hyaluronic Acid and collagen in our skin.
As a result, our faces naturally lose volume and this increases the deeper wrinkles and folds.
Volume loss also can distort the proportions and symmetry of of our faces. Hyaluronic Acid helps to restore the lost volume.

Important Considerations: Some side effects can include redness, swelling, pain, or bruising at injection site. Allergic reactions are also possible. Make sure to alert your provider with any allergies or autoimmune issues that you may have.

There is little to no down time expected with dermal fillers treatment.
You may experience mild swelling & slight bruising. We ask you restrain for excessive activity within the next 24-48 hrs. Please don’t massage or manipulate the filler.
Dermal Fillers start at $600. Prices vary based on the individual needs or amount of volume deficit is seen. No two faces are alike, so please give us a call to set up a consult and find out if you are a good candidate for dermal fillers.
